India and the West Indies face off in the opening two matches of their three-game T20 series on Friday and Sunday in Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram respectively.
Virat Kohli’s men are fresh off their victory over Bangladesh on home soil, while earlier this year India defeated the West Indies in the United States and the Caribbean by a 3-0 margin.
The Windies need to bounce back from their series defeat last time out against Afghanistan, losing the final two matches of the series at home. Kieron Pollard’s team now need a response, although it will be a massive challenge to defeat India on the road given their form.
We’ll now look at the leading markets for you to watch for the opening two games of the series.

India are blessed with arguably the most talented batting line-up in the world, headlined by Kohli. He should be the top consideration when it comes to picking the man to lead India in runs in the opener along with the second match of the series.
However, Kohli might be restricted by entering at number three in the order, with Rohit Sharma and Lokesh Rahul likely opening the batting.
Sharma has been in imperious form of late and has a good record against the West Indies, averaging 47.22 with a top score of 111. Back him at odds of 5/2 with Betway to lead the run column.
The Windies were blown away by India’s attack in the States and the Caribbean in their T20 series earlier this year. Few players emerged with credit from the three-match series, but Pollard did score a fine half-century in the final game in Providence, albeit in a losing effort.
He will need to set the tone after a disappointing start to his captaincy against Afghanistan. The 32-year-old’s international record is nowhere near as good as his domestic performances. It’s time for that to change, beginning with a leading score at odds of 11/2 with Betway.

India’s bowlers dominated the Windies in August and they should be able to deliver results once again. Deepak Chahar has enjoyed an outstanding start to his T20 career, taking the best-ever figures in a Twenty20 international match in his side’s win over Bangladesh in Nagpur.
The 27-year-old had the measure of the Windies in their match-up, claiming figures of 3/4 in Providence. He’s certainly a player on the rise, boosting India’s already potent stock of bowlers. Take the impressive seamer to rack up the wickets once more at a good price of 7/2 with Betway.

The Windies will enter the series without a true leader of the attack, although Sheldon Cottrell is developing into a solid player. Kesrick Williams has enjoyed a good start to his career, claiming 38 wickets in his opening 28 matches at an average of 15.71.
The 29-year-old was on form against Afghanistan, but the true test of his mettle will come against the quality batting line-up of Kohli and company, especially in unfamiliar conditions. Williams could be a surprise factor and at odds of 7/2 there is enough value there for the solid return.
West Indies Top Bowler 1st Innings – Kesrick Williams 7/2 with Dafabet
Double down on India in the opening two matches. They’re the overwhelming favourites on home soil to dominate the Windies. They’ve got too much strength in both departments to be troubled by the visitors so expect the series to be wrapped up in two games. Dafabet has decent odds of 4/9 for them to take the win in Hyderabad and expect the same value for the second contest.
